This coursebook emphasizes two kinds of English learning materials: general English grammar and aviation English. First, the general English grammar covers conditional sentence types I, II, and III, compound and complex sentence, and gerund and infinitive. These materials are put into three different units. Unit 1 discusses conditional sentence types I, III, and III. Unit 2 covers compound and complex sentences. At last, Unit 3 is about gerund and infinitive. Each unit includes pre-, whilst, and post-learning activities. The pre-learning activities aim to activate students’ schemata or previous knowledge of grammar and language building. The language building encompasses information on the learned general English grammar. Later, in this activity, there will be some introduced cultures and some instructions to activate students’ cultural knowledge. At the whist-learning activities, teachers are necessary to give their students worksheets of English materials to crosscheck the students’ understanding of the grammar learned.
